Biography
Christie Wilkins was born in Bryan, Texas.
She was raised into a military family and spent
her life in Greece, France, Germany, Texas and
Virginia. She lived in an artistically inclined
family. As a teenager she studied art in France
under Herr Krupp a German-born artist. While
under his tutelage she won first place in a
water color competition. She continued to paint
for a few years until she began her married and
work life. She began painting many years later
with emphasis on still lifes, seascapes and
landscapes. She has attended several workshops,
learning more through purchased videos and books.
She has entered several paintings in local art
contests and won awards.
