Born in 1976 in Alabama, Danielle moved to Plano at the age of 4 and quickly developed a fascination with sketching everyday objects. Her talent and infatuation with
photo-realism continued to mature until she progressed into oils at the age of 14.
Self-taught at capturing the world on canvas with oils, she remains continuously critical
of her work and improves it based on studies of Braque, Duchamp, Dali, Mondrian,
Delaney and others. Over the past two years has she turned to the elements of form and motion to create a montage of what she describes as "contemporary cubist works with influences that are sometimes surrealist and lately futurist." Her interests are in reducing form to its essentials and allowing it to describe its own motion or elemental form to the viewer.
Danielle is currently pursuing a degree in art history as well as maintaining her
progression in her field of interest. She has served as a member of the board for the Plano Art Association for the past 7 months.
